ASX 200 starts the week with a fall of 5.6%

The S&P/ASX 200 Index (ASX:XJO) has fallen another 5.6% at the start of the week due to the ongoing coronavirus outbreak.

The S&P/ASX 200 Index (ASX: XJO) has started the week with a further decline of 5.6% on Monday.

Since market close on Friday, more states have announced tighter restrictions and border closures. Even Bondi Beach has been closed.

There were plenty of updates today on the ASX:

The share price of Atlas Arteria Group (ASX: ALX) fell 17.7% today after giving an update.

The shares of Webjet Limited (ASX: WEB) and Flight Centre Travel Group Ltd (ASX: FLT) have gone into a trading halt to get a handle on the situation.

The share price of JB Hi-Fi Limited (ASX: JBH) fell 10.8% after giving an update.

The share price of Sydney Airport Holdings Pty Ltd (ASX: SYD) rose 2.7% after giving an update.   

The share price of SKYCITY Entertainment Group Limited (ASX: SKC) dropped 15.2% after giving an update and withdrawing guidance.

The share price of Ardent Leisure Group Ltd (ASX: ALG) fell 35.9% after making its update.

The Village Roadshow Ltd (ASX: VRL) share price also declined 26.1% on the announcement of park closures.

The share price of Santos Ltd (ASX: STO) fell another 4.3% after the energy company made its own COVID-19 announcement.

The share price of Caltex Australia Limited (ASX: CTX) fell 7.3% after giving a trading update.

The share price of Link Administration Holdings Ltd (ASX: LNK) dropped 13.5% after giving its own update.

The share price of Stockland Corporation Ltd (ASX: SGP) dropped 16% after withdrawing its guidance.

The share price of NIB Holdings Limited (ASX: NHF) rose 1.8% after giving an update.

The share price of Cimic Group Ltd (ASX: CIM) rose almost 7%.

The share price of Sonic Healthcare Limited (ASX: SHL) increased 6.3%.

The share price of CSL Limited (ASX: CSL) increased 4.2%.

The share price of Credit Corp Group Limited (ASX: CCP) declined 36.4%.

The share price of Southern Cross Media Group Ltd (ASX: SXL) declined 33%.

The share price of Afterpay Touch Group Ltd (ASX: APT) dropped another 28.5%.
