Reporting season is back, marking one of the most hectic times of year for investors, analysts, and finance writers alike (ahem).

A handful of early movers have already released their results for FY25, along with forward guidance for what lies ahead.

But the real action is about to heat up.

As we roll into August, the reporting frenzy will reach full throttle.

Let the mayhem begin!

Some of the most highly anticipated results of the season will come from a couple of household names: Coles Group Ltd (ASX: COL) and Woolworths Group Ltd (ASX: WOW).

And on the ASX, these supermarket giants fall within the 'consumer staples' sector.

However, this sector's other major players also own brands that are likely to be familiar for many Aussies.

From milk and cheese to chicken, wine, and even Vegemite.

There's a good chance most of us have purchased goods from these companies at some point.

And over the coming weeks, seven major ASX 200 consumer staples stocks are slated to report their earnings for FY25.

Let's find out when.

Food for thought

Firstly, a small caveat.

Reporting dates can change as companies finalise their financials, so some of the timings below may shift.

Also, this list isn't exhaustive with several other consumer staples companies due to report in August.

Without further ado, here's when Coles, Woolies, and five other ASX 200 consumer staples stocks are set to unveil their results.

FY25 reporting dates – ASX 200 consumer staples stocks

  • Wednesday 13 August – Treasury Wine Estates Ltd (ASX: TWE): One of the world's largest wine companies and owner of the Penfold's and Wolff Blass brands, amongst many others.
  • Monday 18 August – A2 Milk Company Ltd (ASX: A2M): Produces and sells premium quality milk and related dairy products across Australia, New Zealand, China, North America, and emerging markets.
  • Thursday 21 August – Bega Cheese Ltd (ASX: BGL): Produces dairy products, nutritional powders, Vegemite, peanut butter, and more. Its brands include Farmers Union, Yoplait, and Pure.
  • Friday 22 August – Inghams Group Ltd (ASX: ING): Australian poultry producer specialising in chicken and turkey products, including fresh, frozen, cooked, and snack options.
  • Monday 25 August – Endeavour Group Ltd (ASX: EDV): Retail drinks and hospitality business operating a wide array of brands, including Dan Murphy's and BWS.
  • Tuesday 26 August – Coles Group Ltd (ASX: COL): Leading Australian supermarket and convenience store chain. The company also owns renowned brands such as Liquorland and Vintage Cellars.
  • Wednesday 27 August – Woolworths Group Ltd (ASX: WOW): Iconic Australian retailer primarily known for its supermarket chains. It also operates the BIG W discount department store.
