Reporting season is back, marking one of the most hectic times of year for investors, analysts, and finance writers alike (ahem).

A handful of early movers have already released their results for FY25, along with forward guidance for what lies ahead.

But the real action is about to heat up.

As we roll into August, the reporting frenzy will reach full throttle.

Let the mayhem begin!

Some of the most highly anticipated results of the season will come from a couple of household names: Coles Group Ltd (ASX: COL) and Woolworths Group Ltd (ASX: WOW).

And on the ASX, these supermarket giants fall within the 'consumer staples' sector.

However, this sector's other major players also own brands that are likely to be familiar for many Aussies.

From milk and cheese to chicken, wine, and even Vegemite.

There's a good chance most of us have purchased goods from these companies at some point.

And over the coming weeks, seven major ASX 200 consumer staples stocks are slated to report their earnings for FY25.

Let's find out when.

Food for thought

Firstly, a small caveat.

Reporting dates can change as companies finalise their financials, so some of the timings below may shift.

Also, this list isn't exhaustive with several other consumer staples companies due to report in August.

Finally, investors following other ASX sectors can find reporting dates for ten of the biggest ASX 200 mining stocks here.

Similarly, the schedule for six prominent ASX 200 energy stocks is located here.

Without further ado, here's when Coles, Woolies, and five other ASX 200 consumer staples stocks are set to unveil their results.
