About Bega Cheese Ltd

Bega Cheese Ltd (BGA) is an Australian food company primarily known for its range of cheese products. However, Bega's portfolio also extends to butter, spreads, condiments and other pantry items. In 2017, Bega purchased the Mondelez Australian grocery business which included Kraft-branded peanut butter, cheeses and our Aussie national treasure, Vegemite.

Bega employs more than 500 staff in the Bega Valley on the south coast of New South Wales and around 20% of overall production is exported to over 50 countries across the globe. The company was founded as a dairy co-operative in 1899 and after listing on the ASX in 2011, Bega shares notched up impressive share price gains for shareholders in the ensuing years.
