About Treasury Wine Estates Ltd
Treasury Wine Estates Ltd (ASX: TWE) is a global winemaking and distribution business with an international portfolio of wine brands and viticultural assets. Treasury's wine portfolio includes household brand names such as Penfolds, Beringer, Lindemans, Wolf Blass and Rosemount Estate and more.
Headquartered in Melbourne, Treasury Wine was formerly the wine division of international brewing company Foster's Group.
As of January 2020, the company owns over 13,000 hectares of vineyards, with more than 3,000 winemakers, viticulturists, sales, distribute and support staff. TWE wine is sold in more than 100 countries around the world.
TWE shares first listed in 2011, and have since gone from strength to strength to now sit comfortably on the S&P/ASX 200 Index (ASX: XJO) alongside Australia’s biggest companies.
