ALL ORDINARIES finishes higher Thursday: 8 ASX shares you missed

The S&P/ASX 200 (Index:^AXJO)(ASX:XJO) and ALL ORDINARIES (Index:^AXAO) (ASX:XAO) finished higher on Thursday, here are 8 ASX shares you missed.

Australia's S&P/ASX 200 (Index: ^AXJO)(ASX: XJO) and ALL ORDINARIES (Index: ^AXAO) (ASX: XAO) indices finished higher on Thursday.

Here's a short recap of the Australian market:

  • S&P/ASX 200 (Index: ^AXJO) (ASX: XJO) higher 0.55% to 6,718.50
  • ALL ORDINARIES (Index: ^AXAO) (ASX: XAO) higher 0.52% to 6,826.50
  • AUD/USD at US 68 cents
  • Gold at US$1,496.50 an ounce
  • Brent Oil at US$63.72 a barrel

The best-performing ASX 200 share today was the Brickworks Limited (ASX: BKW) share price which rose by 6.2% after reporting its FY19 result.

This seems to have helped the Washington H. Soul Pattinson and Co. Ltd (ASX: SOL) share price which also rose by 2.1% after handing in its FY19 report.

But large Soul Patts holding New Hope Corporation Limited (ASX: NHC) suffered a 4.4% share price fall today, making it the worst performer in the ASX 200.

A falling oil price caused the Beach Energy Limited (ASX: BPT) share price to drop by 3.3% today.

The ELMO Software Ltd (ASX: ELO) share price fell 5% after the tech company completed its capital raising.

Livetiles Ltd (ASX: LVT) was another small cap to come back to trading after a capital raising, causing the share price to drop 5%.

The painful volatility continues for iSignthis Ltd (ASX: ISX), its share price fell another 10.7% today, although it was down much further in the morning.

Finally, the share price of Splitit Ltd (ASX: SPT) fell 1% after announcing that the CEO would transition out of the role.
