The ASX is broken up into 11 distinct sectors.

These range from healthcare and financials to energy, information technology, and consumer staples – with the latter home to supermarket giants such as Coles Group Ltd (ASX: COL).

Then there's also the communication services sector, which is made up of two industry groups.

Firstly, the 'media and entertainment' group includes a range of companies involved in advertising, broadcasting, publishing, and interactive media.

Secondly, the 'telecommunication services' group covers businesses operating in mobile and integrated communications services.

And leading the charge in the telecom space is a name that needs little introduction: Telstra Group Ltd (ASX: TLS).

Telstra operates Australia's largest mobile network.

It also provides a wide array of services, including mobile and fixed-line telecommunications, data, and digital content, for both consumers and businesses.

Like many other blue-chip shares, Telstra is preparing to report its financial results for FY25 during August.

But it is not going solo, with several other prominent ASX 200 communication services stocks also due to deliver their earnings results in the coming weeks.

Reporting galore

Below, we provide the key reporting dates for the communication services sector.

Firstly, however, a small word of caution.

These dates are subject to change as companies fine tune their financial numbers. And this list is not exhaustive.
