The S&P/ASX 200 (Index: ^AXJO) (ASX: XJO) appears set to open flat this morning with the main bourse currently sitting at 5,982 points.

Here's a quick recap from the international markets on Friday:

  • FTSE 100 (UK): down 0.1%
  • DAX (Germany): up 0.39%
  • CAC 40 (France): up 0.2%
  • Dow Jones (USA): up 0.14%
  • NASDAQ (USA): up 0.32%

The Downer EDI Limited (ASX: DOW) and Spotless Group Holdings Ltd (ASX: SPO) share prices could receive some attention today. Downer EDI this morning said that it has completed its review of the Spotless Group business planning, budgeting and target setting process, saying that the outcome of the review was largely positive. In addition to saying that cost synergies are now expected to exceed original estimates, it said:

"Spotless' underlying earnings for the first four months of the 2018 financial year have been consistent and predictable and are broadly in line with our business case."

The Collection House Limited (ASX: CLH) share price could also be in focus. On Friday after the market closed, the company announced that Anthony Rivas had been appointed as Managing Director and CEO, effective immediately. Rivas has been CEO of the company since 6 July 2016.

And Myer Holdings Ltd (ASX: MYR) may receive some attention after The Australian Financial Review reported that two class action law firms have been looking at launching class actions against the retailer.

Elsewhere, Aconex Ltd (ASX: ACX) could receive some focus after its shares rose 6.4% on Friday, while Webjet Limited (ASX: WEB) shares fell another 3.2%. Webjet's shares fell more than 20% last week.
