ALL ORDINARIES finishes higher Thursday: 8 shares you missed

Australia's S&P/ASX 200 (Index: ^AXJO)(ASX: XJO) and ALL ORDINARIES (Index: ^AXAO) (ASX: XAO) indices finished higher on Thursday.

Here's a short recap of the Australian market:

  • S&P/ASX 200 (Index: ^AXJO) (ASX: XJO) higher 0.29% to 6,501.80
  • ALL ORDINARIES (Index: ^AXAO) (ASX: XAO) higher 0.31% to 6,593.00
  • AUD/USD at US 68 cents
  • Gold at US$1,501.71 an ounce
  • Brent Oil at US$60.08 a barrel

The best-performing ASX 200 share today was the Pro Medicus Limited (ASX: PME) share price which rose a healthy 16% in response to its released FY19 report.

Another share price to do very well from its report was the Vocus Group Ltd (ASX: VOC) share price which climbed 9.6%.

At the red end of the ASX, the Idp Education Ltd (ASX: IEL) share price fell 10.4% as investors learned of the FY19 numbers reported by the company.

The Webjet Limited (ASX: WEB) share price dropped a painful 8.3% thanks to the FY19 result today.

Investors binned the Bingo Industries Ltd (ASX: BIN) share price which fell 6.3%, its FY19 report clearly didn't impress.

But the Flight Centre Travel Group Ltd (ASX: FLT) share price flew 7.5% higher with investors pleased by the travel business' FY19 result.

The share price of Qantas Airways Limited (ASX: QAN) rose 1.4% as it announced another share buy-back as part of its results release.

Finally, the Zip Co Ltd (ASX: Z1P) share price ended the day 4.2% lower despite revealing another set of high growth numbers.
