Why I'd invest $10,000 into HUB24 shares this month

The shares aren't cheap, but I think the company's growth opportunities make it worth considering for a long-term investment.

One ASX share I'd be happy to invest $10,000 into this November is HUB24 Ltd (ASX: HUB).

The wealth management technology company has delivered impressive growth in recent years, and I believe there's plenty more to come.

In fact, its latest quarterly update has given me even more confidence in its long-term prospects.

Here's why I'd be happy to buy its shares today.

A business with plenty of opportunities

One of the reasons I like HUB24 is that its business can benefit as more Australians build their wealth.

The company operates an investment and superannuation platform that financial advisers use to manage their clients' money.

As advisers attract new clients and existing customers contribute more to their investments, additional money can flow onto HUB24's platform.

And because the company earns fees for administering those investments, growing funds under administration can translate into higher revenue over time.

I think that's an attractive business model, especially given Australia's growing retirement savings and the increasing complexity of financial advice.

However, HUB24 still needs to convince advisers that its platform is the right place for their clients' money. And that's where I think the company has been doing an excellent job.

Its latest update was encouraging

In October, HUB24 revealed that it attracted approximately $4 billion in platform net inflows during the first quarter of FY27. That helped lift its total funds under administration to $168.6 billion, an increase of 15% from a year earlier.

I think those figures demonstrate the continued demand for HUB24's services. But there's another detail from the update that I find equally encouraging.

The company signed 45 new licensee agreements during the quarter, while the number of advisers using its platform increased to 5,860.

Those new relationships could become valuable sources of future growth as advisers gradually bring more client investments onto the platform.

And HUB24 appears to be giving them good reasons to stay. In the Adviser Ratings 2026 Australian Financial Advice Landscape Report, HUB24 achieved the highest Net Promoter Score and ranked first in nine of the 11 platform capability categories.

I think that speaks highly of the experience it provides.

The company is also continuing to invest in improving its technology, including its new myhub offering, which aims to make it easier for advisers to access information and manage their work.

If HUB24 can help advisers operate more efficiently, I believe it could become an even more attractive choice for financial advice businesses.

And that could support further growth in both adviser numbers and funds under administration.

What about the valuation?

There are some risks to consider before investing $10,000.

HUB24's shares command a premium PE ratio valuation of 44 times consensus FY27 earnings, meaning investors are already expecting the business to deliver substantial growth.

Its latest quarterly net inflows were also 23% lower than a year earlier, showing that growth won't always be consistent.

And because its revenue is influenced by the value of investments on its platform, a prolonged share market downturn could affect profitability.

However, I believe HUB24 has opportunities to keep attracting new business and expanding its services over the coming years.

That gives me confidence that its earnings could grow considerably over the next decade.

Foolish takeaway

I think HUB24 is the kind of share that could reward investors who are prepared to look beyond short-term price movements.

Its growing adviser network, strong customer satisfaction, and continued investment in technology give me confidence in its future.

While its valuation means there is pressure to keep delivering, I'd be happy to invest $10,000 into HUB24 shares this month and give the business plenty of time to grow.
