The Antipa Minerals Ltd (ASX: AZY) share price is in focus after the company reported broad zones of gold-copper-lead-silver mineralisation at Tim's Dome and defined a 2km-long gold anomaly at AL01, strengthening its footprint in the Paterson Province.

What did Antipa Minerals report?

  • Thick gold-copper-lead-silver mineralisation intersected at Tim's Dome over 500m of strike, remaining open and firming up a Telfer-style reef target.
  • Top 1m grades from Tim's Dome included 6.31 g/t gold, 1.33% copper, 1.84% lead, and 2.27 g/t silver.
  • AL01 air core drilling defined a coherent 2km-long gold anomaly, with intersections up to 39m at 0.05 g/t gold and 185 ppm copper.
  • WACA geotechnical drilling returned 114m at 0.8 g/t gold and 0.24% copper from 7m, including high-grade zones of gold and copper.
  • Growth drilling at Minyari Dome's GEO-01 South extended mineralised lodes in several directions, with notable hits up to 12m at 1.3 g/t gold and 0.08% copper.
  • Three rigs remain active across the Minyari Project, with continued RC, diamond, and air core drilling underway.

What else do investors need to know?

Drilling results bolster Antipa's view that Tim's Dome could host Telfer-style mineralisation, with mineralisation directly above a large, untested geophysical conductor. Select RC holes will be extended with diamond tails to test this high-priority target from mid-August.

At AL01, follow-up reverse circulation drilling is being considered once outstanding assay results are received, as recent broad‑spaced air core holes have mapped encouraging gold-copper anomalies.

Meanwhile, the WACA and GEO-01 prospects showed strong potential with broad zones of gold and copper mineralisation, highlighting ongoing resource growth opportunities. Air core and RC drilling is also underway at Chicken Ranch and across the broader Minyari Project.

What did Antipa Minerals management say?

Managing Director and CEO Roger Mason said:

Phase 1 drilling has considerably strengthened our internal view of the Tim's Dome target, with an interesting mineralisation profile that includes high-grade gold and copper with overlapping zones of lead mineralisation returned to the end of some holes. Mineralisation has now been identified over approximately 500m of strike, directly above a large AEM conductor that the RC rig could not reach in this round of testing. The geological setting, metal association and scale of the underlying conductor support our interpretation that the drilling may be defining the upper expression of a larger Telfer-style reef system. We're keen to test this conductor as soon as possible, with diamond tail drilling scheduled to commence by mid-August. So, with drilling also continuing at WACA and Chicken Ranch, there is activity at several high-priority discovery and growth opportunities across the broader Minyari Project.

What's next for Antipa Minerals?

Looking ahead, Antipa will push on with its large, fully funded exploration program throughout Q3 2026, targeting new discoveries and extending known mineralised zones across several prospects. Key near-term milestones will include diamond drilling at Tim's Dome and ongoing growth and discovery drilling at AL01, WACA, Chicken Ranch, and Yolanda.

Further assay results from recent drilling, including at AL01 and along the Yolanda trend, will guide the company's next steps, with any new finds or resource extensions set to inform future development options for the Minyari Project.
