The Beacon Minerals Ltd (ASX: BCN) share price is in focus today after the company posted June quarter gold production of 5,241 ounces and declared a fully franked cash dividend of 10 cents per share.

Beacon Minerals continued its gold retention strategy, holding 4,824 ounces at the Perth Mint and another 390 ounces in transit, together valued at over $30 million based on recent gold spot prices. The company maintained strong stocks, finishing the quarter with 660,000 tonnes of ROM ore stockpiled, supporting its future production outlook.
Beacon also raised $4.24 million from the exercise of listed options during the quarter, and an additional $1.73 million post quarter end. The company reported no corporate debt, with asset finance liabilities totalling $9.9 million, reflecting a conservative balance sheet approach.
What did Beacon Minerals management say?
Managing Director Graham McGarry said:
Operational performance continued to improve, with mill throughput increasing by 6% on the March quarter despite approximately 20 days of processing lower-grade stockpiles at reduced milling rates. The processing plant is now operating at an annualised throughput rate of approximately 1.05Mtpa on Iguana laterite material, demonstrating the strong performance and reliability of the operation.
What's next for Beacon Minerals?
Looking ahead, Beacon expects September 2026 quarter production between 5,000 and 6,000 ounces, with wet commissioning of its $11.5m Jaurdi Mill tank farm expansion on track for November 2026. The company is also advancing updates to its Resource and Reserve estimates at its Iguana and Lizard projects, with a maiden Lizard Resource estimate targeted for the first half of FY27.
Beacon plans to sustain production growth by focusing on resource conversion and maintaining operational flexibility through continued exploration and infrastructure upgrades.
