The S&P/ASX 200 (Index:^AXJO)(ASX:XJO) and ALL ORDINARIES (Index:^AXAO) (ASX:XAO) finished higher on Wednesday, here are 8 ASX shares you missed.

Australia's S&P/ASX 200 (Index: ^AXJO)(ASX: XJO) and ALL ORDINARIES (Index: ^AXAO) (ASX: XAO) indices finished higher on Wednesday.

Here's a short recap of the Australian market:

  • S&P/ASX 200 (Index: ^AXJO) (ASX: XJO) higher 1.27% to 6,736.50
  • ALL ORDINARIES (Index: ^AXAO) (ASX: XAO) higher 1.18% to 6,843.20
  • AUD/USD at US 67 cents
  • Gold at US$1,483.74 an ounce
  • Brent Oil at US$58.90 a barrel

One of the best-performing ASX 200 shares today was the Silver Lake Resources Limited. (ASX: SLR) share price which increased by 8%.

Another of the top performers was the Nearmap Ltd (ASX: NEA) share price which went up by around 7%.

The share price of CYBG Plc (ASX: CYB) increased by 7% with a Brexit agreement potentially getting closer.

Afterpay Touch Group Ltd (ASX: APT) copped a negative broker note from UBS today, sending the share price down by 7.2%.

The Southern Cross Media Group Ltd (ASX: SXL) share price fell another 6% today after yesterday's disappointing trading update.

Nick Scali Limited (ASX: NCK) saw its share price recover over 7% with the furniture retailer on the receiving end of a positive broker note.

Annuity king Challenger Ltd (ASX: CGF) reported higher assets under management for the September 2019 quarter, the share price rose 4.7% in response.

Finally, the share price of OZ Minerals Limited (ASX: OZL) rose 1.6% after giving its quarter production update and increasing its full year guidance.
