ALL ORDINARIES finishes higher Tuesday: 8 shares you missed

Australia’s S&P/ASX 200 (Index: ^AXJO)(ASX: XJO) and ALL ORDINARIES (Index: ^AXAO) (ASX: XAO) indices finished higher on Tuesday.

Here’s a short recap of the Australian market:

  • S&P/ASX 200 (Index: ^AXJO) (ASX: XJO) higher 0.48% to 6,471.20
  • ALL ORDINARIES (Index: ^AXAO) (ASX: XAO) higher 0.53% to 6,565.60
  • AUD/USD at US 68 cents
  • Gold at US$1,533.65 an ounce
  • Brent Oil at US$58.90 a barrel

The best-performing ASX 200 share today was the Nanosonics Ltd (ASX: NAN) share price which rose 35.3% after revealing an expectations-beating FY19 result.

The share price of Afterpay Touch Group Ltd (ASX: APT) rose by 7.7% today, making it another of the ASX200’s top performers.

Plumbing business Reliance Worldwide Corporation Ltd (ASX: RWC) also reported today, investors liked what they read and sent the share price higher by 5.75%.

Remote data business Speedcast International Ltd (ASX: SDA) suffered another huge drop in its share price of almost 33% after revealing its FY19 result.

Inghams Group Ltd (ASX: ING) investors weren’t feeling clucky after the FY19 report, sending its share price lower by 17%.

The Northern Star Resources Ltd (ASX: NST) share price rose 6.6% after reporting and announcing a proposed acquisition to the market.

The share price of Wesfarmers Ltd (ASX: WES) went up over 1% today after reporting its result and declaring a special dividend.

Finally, the share price of Bravura Solutions Ltd (ASX: BVS) rose by 6.7%, it was one of the ASX 200’s biggest gains today.
