    G8 Education Ltd (ASX: GEM) operates more than 430 childcare centres in Australia, with a portfolio of 21 brands. It is among the larger for-profit operators in the early education and childcare sector.

    The company receives substantial government subsidies, which comprise around 60% of childcare fees.

    G8 does not own the buildings where its childcare centres operate. Labour costs comprise around 60% of the company's revenue. In recent times, the business has faced sector-wide labour shortages. Rental costs comprise around 10-15% of the company's revenue.

Toni has more than 10 years experience in audit at board level, is a licensed real estate agent and during her time at Goldman Sachs JBWere, was a responsible executive with the ASX holding both derivative and RG146 accreditation. She has also completed an Accelerated Executive Management program through AGSM (The Australian School of Business), the Goldman Sachs JBWere Non-Profit Leadership Program and the Goldman Sachs Executive Director Leadership Program.
