What did IperionX report?

  • Virginia operations maintained 24/7 titanium powder production, with output focused on customer qualification and engineered product programs.
  • HAMR™ systems consistently produced Grade 5 quality powder, supporting progress towards 200 tonnes per annum production run rate by end of 2026.
  • Completed site acceptance and commissioning of a new 300-ton SACMI press, tripling existing powder metallurgy capacity in Virginia.
  • Cash balance of US$35.2 million at quarter-end; pro-forma cash rises to ~US$84 million after subsequent capital raising and U.S. Government reimbursement.
  • U.S. Government-supported Titan study delivered after-tax NPV8 of US$813 million and a forecast life-of-mine EBITDA of US$2.8 billion.

What else do investors need to know?

IperionX advanced several titanium component programs for customers in the defence, aerospace, and automotive sectors, including prototype production for Carver Pump and Ford, and ongoing development of U.S. Army track pins and fasteners. The company also validated its HSPT™ and THRM™ end-product performance via independent Army and commercial testing, confirming torque and tensile properties above key benchmarks.

The business completed the US$3 million acquisition of Atlas, adding strategic critical mineral resources and infrastructure to its Tennessee project portfolio. The integration of Atlas and Titan aims to fast-track a domestic feedstock platform for titanium and rare earth minerals, with an integrated economic study due by year-end.

What's next for IperionX?

Looking ahead, IperionX remains focused on ramping up titanium powder production in Virginia towards its 200 tpa target and commissioning new sintering furnaces to expand downstream component manufacturing. The company is progressing an integrated assessment of its Atlas-Titan mineral assets and is moving customer programs from prototype towards commercial contracts, particularly in defence and industrial markets.

Active engagement with the U.S. Government continues—both on further manufacturing expansion (towards 1,400 tpa supported by US$47.1 million IBAS funding) and potential additional support for the integrated critical minerals project in Tennessee.
