As we approach the middle of the month, I thought I would take a look at a few notable events I feel are worth looking out for in the next couple of weeks.

Three small-cap shares which have big announcements coming up are listed below. Here's what to look out for:

The Collins Foods Ltd (ASX: CKF) share price will be one to watch on June 27. The operator of KFC restaurants will report its full-year results that day and investors will get a chance to see how its expansion into Europe is tracking. According to Bloomberg the market expects earnings per share of 35.5 cents. I feel confident the company will at least deliver on expectations, which could make it an opportune time to snap up shares in this growing company.

The Quintis Ltd (ASX: QIN) share price is due to come out of its voluntary suspension on June 21. Currently the embattled sandalwood plantation manager is in discussions with multiple parties in relation to non-binding correspondence concerning potential debt and equity transactions. But considering its poor performance and questionable accounting, I can't imagine there would be many brave enough to go ahead with a transaction. I expect its shares could tumble when they are released from suspension.

The SKY and Space Global Ltd (ASX: SAS) share price has gone gangbusters this year in anticipation for the launch of its nano-satellites into space. Although no firm date has been given, the launch is due to take place in the third week of June. Sky and Space Global aims to create a constellation of nano-satellites in order to provide mobile coverage to an estimated four billion people that go without it. If the launch and deployment are a success, I wouldn't be surprised to see its shares continue to climb higher.
