On Saturday I looked at how rewarding buy and hold investing can be for investors.

Today I thought I would follow that up by looking at a few shares which I feel could be great long-term investments. They are as follows:

Bravura Solutions Ltd (ASX: BVS)

I think that Bravura Solutions could be a great buy and hold investment option. The provider of software products and services to the wealth management and funds administration industries has been growing at an impressive rate over the last few years thanks to the increasing popularity of its Sonata wealth management platform. The good news is that Sonata still has a significant market opportunity which I believe gives the company a long runway for growth over the next decade. Bravura Solutions' growth could be given an additional boost if it can successfully acquire GBST Holdings Limited (ASX: GBT).

Cochlear Limited (ASX: COH)

I think Cochlear is one of the highest quality companies on the Australian share market and a great option for a long term investment. This is because I believe the leading global hearing solutions company is well-positioned for strong growth over the next decade thanks to its exposure to the ageing population tailwind, the quality of its market-leading products, and its global distribution network.

Webjet Limited (ASX: WEB)

Although I wouldn't expect this online travel agent's shares to provide another 31.5% per annum total return over the next ten years, I believe Webjet has the potential to be a market beater again. This is largely down to the ongoing shift to online travel booking, the growing popularity of its many B2C and B2B brands, and acquisitions. This year the fast-growing company expects to deliver full year EBITDA of $120 million, which will be a year on year increase of 37%.

James Mickleboro has no position in any of the stocks mentioned. The Motley Fool Australia's parent company Motley Fool Holdings Inc. owns shares of Bravura Solutions Ltd and Cochlear Ltd.
