2 of my favourite investment podcasts

These 2 investment podcasts are well worth a listen.

One of the things I find most interesting about the investment industry is that some of its best members give away so many pieces of advice for free. I can't imagine the best lawyers or accountants giving away some of their tips for free.

Warren Buffett has been offering up wise snippets for many years, as have many other investors.

There are also quality investment podcasts out there to listen to in the car or on a walk. Here are two of my favourite to listen to:

Motley Fool Money

This Australian-based podcast is hosted by our very own Scott Phillips and Anirban Mahanti. Each week they discuss a different topic, mostly relating to investing. In the past few weeks reporting season has dominated the agenda, but the duo also answer listener mailbag questions.

For example, in the latest podcast a listener asked for some agricultural share ideas to diversify a portfolio. Scott and Anirban each offered up two ideas including Freedom Foods Group Ltd (ASX: FNP) and Rural Funds Group (ASX: RFF).

A lot of investment audio to potentially listen to is quite serious and heavy, but Scott and Anirban make it fun, relatable and understandable.

Rule Breaker Investing

Another Fool podcast, this one is hosted by David Gardner, co-founder of (US parent) The Motley Fool.

He has picked some huge-returning investments during his career such as Amazon early on. In the latest podcast he outlined 6 "Hows" of Rule Breaker Investing.

David invests very differently to most other people, which is probably why he has beaten most people over the long-term. I think he is well worth listening to in this podcast and other places you can find him talking about investing.

Motley Fool contributor Tristan Harrison owns shares of RURALFUNDS STAPLED. The Motley Fool Australia owns shares of and has recommended RURALFUNDS STAPLED. The Motley Fool Australia has recommended Freedom Foods Group Limited. We Fools may not all hold the same opinions, but we all believe that considering a diverse range of insights makes us better investors. The Motley Fool has a disclosure policy.
