About oOh media Ltd
oOh!media Ltd (ASX:OML) is an Australian media company that specialises in ‘out of home’ advertising and communications. The organisation has operations in Australia and New Zealand and employs around 800 people across the two countries. oOh!media boasts an extensive network of over 37,000 digital and static advertising locations spanning road, rail, airports, retail centres, universities and office towers.
The company claims to reach 77% of the Australian population with its communication solutions which include billboards, transport station advertising, digital media and ‘experiential’ advertising. Experiential advertising encompasses product sampling, product drops, immersive activations, pop up retail outlets and roaming promotions.
oOh!media is a full service media company providing clients with end-to-end solutions spanning creative and content development, data analytics and campaign execution. It works directly with advertisers as well as with advertising agencies, governments, community groups and leaseholders.
The company owns digital media brands Junkee and Punkee as well as printing business, Cactus. Some of its clients include the Australian arms of American Express Company (NYSE: AXP) and Netflix Inc (NASDAQ: NFLX) as well as Westpac Banking Corp (ASX: WBC) and Qantas Airways Limited (ASX: QAN).
oOh!media shares listed on the ASX in 2014. The oOh!media share price fell heavily during 2020 with lockdown restrictions forcing much of the company’s target audiences to spend increasing amounts of time in their homes.
