About Magellan Financial Group Ltd
Magellan Financial Group (ASX: MFG) is an Australian-based funds manager investing in global equities and global listed infrastructure.
Founded in 2006, the group gained an international reputation on the back of its successful investments, attracting global as well as Australian investors.
Coinciding with management changes, the fund's performance has slipped in recent years, seeing it underperform many of its peers. This has resulted in a significant outflow of funds under management as well as a steep decline in Magellan's share price.
