About GPT Group
GPT Group (GPT) is one of the largest diversified property groups in Australia. The company owns and operates a multi-billion dollar portfolio of retail, office and logistics property assets across Australia, primarily located along the eastern seaboard.
Some of GPT’s major properties include Melbourne Central and Highpoint in Victoria, and Australia Square and Westfield Penrith in New South Wales.
The company’s history dates back to 1971 when the General Property Trust was listed on the ASX as Australia’s first-ever property trust. The trust was launched and managed by Lendlease Group (ASX: LLC) until GPT separated from Lendlease in 2005 and became the independent company it is known as today.
