What else do investors need to know?
Commercial production at the CMA Underground mine commenced in July, adding to overall group output. Perseus maintained a zero-debt balance sheet, and liquidity stood at US$1.3 billion including US$400 million undrawn debt, providing solid financial flexibility.
Across its sites, production was softer compared to the previous quarter, with Yaouré, Edikan, and Sissingué gold mines all reporting lower output and variable operating costs. Despite this, Perseus reaffirmed FY27 guidance, expecting a production lift in the second half as higher-grade ore is accessed.
What's next for Perseus Mining?
Perseus is on track with construction at the Nyanzaga Gold Project in Tanzania, now reported as 88% complete with first gold targeted for January 2027. Guidance for the full year remains unchanged, with production expected to be weighted towards the second half, supported by higher-grade ore and increased underground contribution.
The company is also strengthening its social and economic contributions in host countries, with recent initiatives including youth training programmes, local procurement, and a strong focus on workplace safety.
