Australian investors sure love their exchange-traded funds (ETFs) these days.

The latest BetaShares data shows there is now $255.3 billion invested in ETFs.

Overall ETF investment increased by 34.8% — or $66 billion — in the 12 months to 28 February.

For ETF owners, it's probably comforting to know that so many other Australians also see ETFs as a great way to invest.

And there's another reason to feel happy about your ETF investments today.
