Cimic Group Ltd (ASX: CIM) is a mining and mineral processing, construction and energy services group.

Cimic Group company, Leighton Asia, will work with developer Bayaweaver Ltd to build the 'Oh My God' mixed-use development project in Noida, India. Construction is expected to be completed in mid-2022.

Cimic Group Chief Executive Officer Michael Wright said "Cimic Group and Leighton Asia have a strong track record of delivering premium commercial and residential projects across India.

"This award recognises Leighton Asia's considerable expertise in the high-end building sector and positions us well to capture future opportunities within the highly competitive Asian market."

The 'Oh My God' development will be made up of a 38-storey tower with 736 studio apartments, the Radisson Red hotel, retail stores, car parks and an additional 3-storey retail building.

The Cimic Group share price was down 0.21% to $51.19 as of close on Friday.
