About Capricorn Metals Ltd
Capricorn Metals Ltd (ASX: CMM) is an Australian-based gold producer and mineral exploration company.
The company currently operates two projects in Western Australia, the Karlawinda gold project in the Pilbara region and the Mount Gibson gold project located in the mid-west region.
Capricorn describes its management team as highly experienced in the gold sector, having worked together at other gold companies including the delisted Equigold NL and Regis Resources Ltd (ASX: RRL).
In addition to the gold projects, Capricorn Metals is actively exploring tenement packages at both sites.

Mr Clark has over 30 years' experience in corporate advisory and public company management. He was a director of Australian gold miner Equigold NL (Equigold) from April 2003 and was Managing Director from December 2005 until Equigold's $1.2 billion merger with Lihir Gold Ltd in June 2008. Equigold developed and operated gold mines in both Australia and Ivory Coast. Mr Clark also served as Managing Director of Regis Resources Limited (Regis) from May 2009 until November 2016 when he was appointed Executive Chairman. He retired as a director of Regis in October 2018. Mr Clark oversaw the development of Regis' three operating gold mines at the Duketon Gold Project, which culminated in the project producing well over 300,000 ounces of gold per annum.

Mr Okeby began his career in the resources industry in the 1980's as a corporate lawyer advising companies on resource project acquisitions, financing, and development. He has over 30 years of experience as a director of ASX listed mining and exploration companies. Mr Okeby is currently a director of Red Hill Iron Limited (appointed in 2015) and is also Non-executive Chairman of Peel Mining Limited (appointed in 2022). Previously Mr Okeby has been a director of Hill 50 Ltd, Abelle Limited, Metals X Limited, Westgold Resources Limited, Lynas Corporation Ltd and Regis Resources Limited. Other listed company directorship during the past three years held by him include Chairman of Peel Mining Limited (appointed 3 March 2022) and Non-Executive Director of Red Hill Iron Limited (August 2015 to present).
