Beach Energy Ltd (BPT) is an Australian oil and natural gas exploration and production company. Beach Energy’s asset portfolio includes ownership interests in strategic oil and gas infrastructure as well as high-potential exploration projects across Australia and New Zealand.

Since being founded in 1961, Beach Energy has established an operated oil business on the Western Flank of the Cooper Basin and has grown to become Australia’s largest onshore oil producer. Additionally, Beach Energy’s Cooper, Otway and Bass basins supply approximately 15% of Australia’s east coast domestic natural gas demand. Beach Energy shares have a long history on the ASX after being publicly listed in 1972 and have since grown to become a constituent of the S&P/ASX 200 Index (ASX: XJO).
