About Appen Ltd
Appen Ltd (ASX: APX) is engaged in the provision of data solutions and services for machine learning and artificial intelligence (AI) applications.
Specifically, the company provides speech and natural language data, image and video data, text and alphanumeric data, and relevance data designed to improve search and social media engines. Its customers include technology companies, auto manufacturers, and government agencies.
The company derives a majority of its revenue from the US although data sourcing and analysis tasks are performed in 180 languages in more than 130 countries. Headquartered in Sydney, Appen listed on the ASX in January 2015.
