From electricity, natural gas, solar and LPG, Origin Energy Limited (ASX: ORG) is a leading provider of energy to homes and businesses throughout Australia. An integrated, publicly listed company, Origin Energy‘s key operating segments include exploration & production, generation, renewable energy & selling energy.
Origin has a rich heritage in energy exploration, production, power generation and retailing. The company is headquartered in Sydney and has offices, generation sites, exploration acreages and production facilities across Australia, Papua New Guinea and the South Pacific.
Origin was formed in 2000, as a result of a demerger of the Australian conglomerate, Boral Limited, and ORG shares first listed on the ASX at that time. ORG is now one of the largest ranked companies on the ASX.
