About Namoi Cotton
Namoi Cotton Ltd. engages in the production and distribution of cotton. It operates through the following segments: Ginning, Marketing, and Commodities. The Ginning segment provides to the growers during the production process such as the separation of lint cotton from seed and other foreign matter, and the conversion of cotton in module form to bale form. The Marketing segment involves the purchase of lint cotton from Australian growers using a variety of forward contracts. The Commodities segment procures various grains and pulse crops from Australian growers, and sells these into various domestic and international markets. The company was founded in 1962, and is headquartered in Toowoomba, Australia.
