About Evolution Mining Limited
Evolution Mining Ltd (ASX: EVN) is one of Australia's largest listed gold miners. The company engages in exploration, development, and production activities in both Australia and Canada.
Evolution operates five wholly owned mines: Cowal in New South Wales, Mt Rawdon and Ernest Henry in Queensland, Mungari in Western Australia, and Red Lake in Canada.
The Cowal gold mine, 350 kilometres west of Sydney, is the company's largest contributor to revenue and earnings. Evolution also operates a processing plant at Mungari, located near Kalgoorlie, to service its three underground mines and open pit mine at the site.
