About Evolution Mining Ltd
Evolution Mining Ltd (ASX: EVN) is an Australian mid-tier gold producer that owns and operates four mines in Australia and one in Ontario, Canada. The company also holds an economic interest in the Ernest Henry copper-gold mine in Queensland.
Evolution Mining was established in 2011 at a time when nearly 3 quarters of Australia’s annual gold production was owned by foreign operators. Today, Evolution is one of the major gold shares on the ASX and among the lowest-cost gold producers in the world.
As a resources share in the ASX gold sector, the Evolution Mining share price is tied to the sometimes volatile fluctuations in the pricing of the sought-after yellow metal.
