About Core Lithium Ltd
Core Lithium Ltd (ASX: CXO) is a mineral exploration company primarily involved in lithium exploration and development. The company touts itself as developing one of Australia’s most capital-efficient and lowest-cost spodumene lithium projects: the Finniss Lithium Project, located near Darwin Port in the Northern Territory, Australia.
The company is also engaged in the exploration of lithium, copper, zinc, and lead deposits in the Northern Territory and South Australia.
The federal government awarded its flagship Finniss Lithium Project 'Major Project Status' in 2021 in recognition of its strategic significance.

Mr English has more than 30 years of mining engineering and legal experience where he has held roles for Australian and multinational companies. Mr Hellewell is an has 30 years of experience in gold, base metals and diamond exploration in Australia and West Africa. Heath has held senior exploration positions with mining and exploration groups including DeBeers Australia and Resolute Mining. He joined IGO Limited in 2000 prior to the Company"s IPO and was part of the team that identified and acquired the Tropicana project area, eventually leading to the discovery of the Tropicana and Havana gold deposits. Heath was the co-founding Executive Director of Doray Minerals, following the discovery of the Andy Well gold deposits, Doray Minerals was named "Gold Explorer of the Year" in 2011 by The Gold Mining Journal and in 2014 Heath was the co-winner of the prestigious "Prospector of the Year" award, presented by the Association of Mining and Exploration Companies. More recently Heath was responsible for acquiring the Karlawinda Gold Project through his private investment group. He is a member of risk committee.
