Because CLW is a trust, rather than a company, its payments to unit holders are known as ‘distributions’ rather than ‘dividends’. Charter Hall Long WALE REIT pays quarterly distributions to its investors in February, May, August and November each year. The REIT paid interim distributions of 7 cents and 7.1 cents per unit in February and May 2020 respectively. At the time of writing the trust has made no announcements regarding payment of its distributions for the remainder of FY20.

Yes. Charter Hall Long WALE REIT offers optional participation in its distribution reinvestment plan. Unit holders residing in Australia and New Zealand can elect either full or partial participation in the plan. As of 21 April 2020, the DRP issue price is at a 1% discount to the average of the daily volume weighted average price of securities over a ten trading day period.

About Charter Hall Long WALE REIT
Charter Hall Long WALE REIT (CLW) is an ASX real estate investment trust (REIT) investing in real estate assets that are primarily leased to corporate and government tenants on long-term leases.
The Long WALE REIT is focused on providing CLW shareholders with stable income and the potential for both income and capital growth through exposure to properties with a long weighted average lease expiry (WALE). WALE represents the average expiry period of all the leases within a property or property portfolio.
This REIT’s portfolio is weighted towards the eastern seaboard of Australia and is diversified across a range of real estate sectors such as industrial, office, retail, and logistics. Some of its major tenants include the federal and state governments, Woolworths Group Ltd (ASX: WOW), Telstra Corporation Ltd (ASX: TLS), and Inghams Group Ltd (ASX: ING). The REIT is managed by Charter Hall Group (ASX: CHC), a major integrated property group that operates a range of other REITs on the ASX.

Mr Fraser is a professional non executive director with experience in finance, infrastructure and property. He was a member of Transfield Holdings Advisory Board from 1999 to 2015. Glenn also served as a Non Executive Director of the Charter Hall Group from April 2005 to August 2012.
