About Bega Cheese Ltd
Bega Cheese Ltd (ASX: BGA) is an Australian-based dairy processor and food manufacturer. Its well-known brands include Bega Cheese and Vegemite.
Bega operates two segments: its branded segment which produces consumer packaged goods primarily sold through supermarkets and food service channels and its bulk segment which produces commodity dairy ingredients primarily sold business-to-business.
Bega operates manufacturing sites across New South Wales and Victoria, producing its own products as well as manufacturing under contract. It currently exports its products to around 40 countries.

He also took a lead role in negotiating the scheme of arrangement for Bega to acquire the remaining 30% of Tatura Milk Industries in December 2011. He has represented dairy farmers in many various industry roles and was formerly the Chair of Murray Dairy. He has been a Supplier Director of the Group since December 2011. He ceased being a supplier of milk to the Group on 23 December 2023 and therefore has become an Independent Director of the Group from this date.
