    About Aurizon Holdings Ltd

Aurizon Holdings Ltd (ASX: AZJ) is Australia's largest rail freight operator, transporting more than 250 million tonnes of commodities annually across a national rail and road network. The company owns one of the world's largest coal rail networks, linking around 50 mines to three major ports in Queensland via 2,670 kilometres of track held under a 99-year lease from the Queensland government.

Aurizon's business is organised into three segments: Network (the regulated Queensland coal rail infrastructure), Coal (above-rail coal haulage in Queensland and New South Wales), and Bulk, which expanded significantly following the 2022 acquisition of One Rail and now hauls grain, iron ore, copper, lithium, and other bulk commodities nationally. Aurizon aims to grow its Bulk business while reducing its reliance on thermal coal haulage.
