About AUB Group Limited
AUB Group Ltd (ASX: AUB) is the second-largest general insurance broker network in Australia and New Zealand.
The company has interests in 50 equity partner brokerage businesses covering more than 520 locations. Collectively, they write more than $4.4 billion in gross written premium (GWP) with local and international insurers. AUB also owns equity stakes in 33 underwriting agencies.
The company earns revenue from commissions based on GWP from the agencies it owns as well as a share of profits from its associates and joint ventures. AUB's revenue is largely derived from commercial insurance, predominantly from small to medium-sized enterprises. Personal insurances account for a relatively small portion of the company's portfolio.
