About Betashares S&P/ASX Australian Technology ETF

BetaShares S&P/ASX Australian Technology ETF (ASX: ATEC) is an ASX listed exchange-traded fund (ETF). It aims to track the performance of the S&P/ASX All Technology Index (ASX: XTX) before fees and charges. This means the fund invests in ASX listed companies operating in tech-related sectors such as IT, e-commerce, medical technology, and electronics.

Some of ATEC’s top holdings include high flying WAAAX shares, Afterpay Ltd (ASX: APT) and Xero Limited (ASX: XRO), as well as companies such as Seek Limited (ASX: SEK), NextDC Ltd (ASX: NXT) and Computershare Limited (ASX: CPU).

The fund was established in March 2020 and, as at October 2020, attracts a management fee of 0.48% per annum. Since its inception, the ATEC share price has performed impressively, returning more than 33% growth to shareholders after fees (as at 30 September 2020).
