About Argosy Minerals Ltd

Argosy Minerals Limited (ASX: AGY) is a Perth-based lithium miner. Its flagship project is the Rincon lithium project in Argentina. As at October 2020, the company has a 77.5% interest in this project which will ultimately become a 90% interest. Argosy Minerals also has 100% ownership of its Tonopah lithium project in Nevada in the United States.

The Rincon project is located in what is known as the ‘lithium triangle’ which is home to the world’s largest lithium resources. Argosy’s projects are still in the development phase, with the company focused on the projected long-term growth of the lithium-ion battery industry.

The company seeks to attract shareholders on the basis that its projects are still in the early stages with significant potential upside expected as they become operational.

Argosy Minerals listed on the ASX in April 1997. Over the years, the Argosy share price has been extremely volatile, reaching as high as 44 cents and as low as 1 cent. The company’s shares have spent the majority of 2020 trading at between 3 and 10 cents.
