    About Australian Vanadium Ltd

    Perth-based Australian Vanadium Ltd (ASX: AVL) is involved in the exploration of the critical mineral vanadium.

    Vanadium is primarily used to produce stronger, more heat-resistant steel. It is also found in nuclear reactors and modern batteries.

    AVL is mainly focused on the Australian Vanadium Project in Western Australia, with the aim of supplying high-grade vanadium to the global steel and energy storage markets.

    It is also involved in the vanadium redox flow battery market through its 100%-owned subsidiary VSUN Energy.

    The Australian Vanadium Ltd share price has slumped since the company was listed on the ASX in 2007, falling from 62 cents to around 3 cents in November 2022.
