About Ioneer Ltd
Ioneer Ltd (ASX: IRN) is an emerging lithium-boron developer focused on developing the Rhyolite Ridge Lithium-Boron Project in Nevada, USA.
The company is aiming to supply lithium to the rapidly-growing electric vehicle (EV) industry in the US. Currently, the sector has to import all of its lithium. Ioneer believes the company is well-placed to feed the supply chain domestically.
Ioneer claims Rhyolite Ridge is the most advanced lithium project in the US and is on target to be the lowest-cost lithium producer, in part due to the value of the boron co-product at the site.
