As Scott mentioned, Motley Fool Share Advisor doesn't hold to any one investment style in particular. Instead, it uses bits and pieces from several different strategies to deliver growth for members.
One common strategy Scott may employ is value investing. Here, the aim is to buy stock in companies whose shares are currently trading cheaply, compared to what they should actually be worth (hence, 'good value').
If that sounds easy… it's not. But it's worth learning about, as it's one of the more famous investing strategies around. Many great investors like Warren Buffet have used this approach to deliver outstanding returns over the length of their careers.
