Vanguard FTSE Asia Ex Japan Shares Index ETF (ASX: VAE) offers low-cost exposure to securities listed in Asia, excluding Japan, Australia and New Zealand.
The ETF has more than 1,350 holdings from across the region. Its biggest holdings include Alibaba, Tencent, Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing, Samsung, AIA, Meituan Dianping, Reliance Industries, JD.com, China Construction Bank and Ping An Insurance.
With no hedging of foreign currencies to the Australian dollar, the ETF is exposed to the fluctuating values of foreign currencies.

Mr Norris is in charge for Vanguard's International Investor Group, which manages investments for institutional and retail clients in 80 countries. Before that position in 2008, he spend two years as a principal in Vanguard Advice, Brokerage & Retirement Services group, and four years in Vanguard Institutional Retirement Plan Services business, which includes all benefit and contribution services and programs for government entities. He has also held leadership positions in statistics and research, communications, marketing, and planning. In 1993 he authored The Vanguard Retirement Investing Guide.

Mr Kolimago was a vice president in the corporate banking division of PNC Bank, N.A. He is Managing Director of Vanguard Australia. In this role, he is in charge for management, distribution, and operations of Vanguard's Australian business. He has served in roles including Investor Group as a principal in Malvern, Pennsylvania and Scottsdale, Arizona, and the teams that support retirement plan clients across a of segments. In 2000, he moved to Japan to assist in establishing Vanguard's Tokyo office, and in 2013, he headed up the combined Services and Benefit Services Group within Vanguard Institutional Investor Group. Recently, he was principal and head of Vanguard Personal Advisor Services in the United States, which provides Vanguard clients with ongoing asset management and investment advice consultations with Certified Financial Planner professional.

Ms Platt gained more than 20 years of experience across the consumer goods, logistics and retail sectors, and in her recent role was Iron Mountain's Chief Financial Officer for Australia and New Zealand. She is Chief Financial Officer for Vanguard Australia and a Member of the Australian Executive Team. In this role, she has her focus on Vanguard's finance operations at management level. She also leads the teams in charge for providing fund accounting, administration and transfer agency services for Vanguard's managed funds, exchange traded funds, and separately manage products.
