United Overseas Australia Ltd. is an investment holding company, which engages in property development, investment, management, and construction. It operates through the following segments: Investments, Land Development & Resale, and Others. The Investment segment includes the holding of investment properties to generate rental income, capital appreciation or both. The Land Development & Resale segment involves in development, construction and sale of residential and commercial properties. The Others segment engages in operations of hotel and food and beverage outlets, provision of facilities, support services and carpark operations, revenue from moneylending services and provision of management services. The company was founded by Chong Soon Kong and Pak Lim Kong in 1987 and is headquartered in Leederville, Australia.
