    About Perseus Mining Ltd

    Perseus Mining Ltd (ASX: PRU) is engaged in the exploration, development, and mining of gold in Africa.

    The company operates three mines: Edikan in Ghana, and Sissingué and Yaouré in Côte d'Ivoire. Perseus has recently acquired Orca Gold and now owns 70% of the Meyas Sand gold project in Sudan (formerly known as Block 14 development project) and a 31.4% stake in the Koné Gold Project in Cote d'Ivoire.

    In the 2022 calendar year, Perseus Mining recorded gold production of more than 521,000 ounces.

He has been a director of the World Gold Council, senior advisor to the WTO, the IOM and a Mining Council member for the World Economic Forum. In 2011, Rick joined Credit Suisse investment banking group as a Senior Advisor, working on transactions in all sectors, and throughout sub-Saharan Africa, leaving the group on its merger with UBS in 2023. He has retained an involvement in leadership in the mining and mining supplies industries, retiring recently as Deputy Chairman of Gold Fields Ltd and as Senior Independent Director of the Weir Group (UK).
