About Opthea
Opthea Limited (ASX: OPT) is a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company. Following the failure of its Phase 3 wet age-related macular degeneration (AMD) trials, the company discontinued that program and relaunched in June 2026 with a new focus on OPT-302 as a potential treatment for lymphangioleiomyomatosis (LAM), a rare lung disease.
Shareholders have been asked to approve a proposed name change to Ceryvyn Therapeutics to reflect the new direction.
