Newfield Resources Ltd (ASX: NWF) is an Australian mining company focused on the construction and development of its flagship Tongo diamond mine in Sierra Leone, West Africa. The company also has two exploration licences in Liberia.
The Tongo project centres on kimberlite dyke-hosted diamond resources with 11 known kimberlites. It is subject to an agreement between the site's two mining licence holders, Newfield Resources subsidiary Sierra Diamonds Limited and a subsidiary of Sierra Leone miner Octea Mining.
