Nearmap Ltd (formerly ASX: NEA) was delisted from the Australian Securities Exchange on 16 December 2022 after its shareholders approved the sale of 100% of the company's shares to a wholly-owned subsidiary of a fund advised by US private equity firm Thoma Bravo L.P.
Nearmap continues to operate as an aerial technology company that provides frequently-updated, high-resolution aerial images and location intelligence. Its operations cover major cities and regional towns in Australia, New Zealand, the United States, and Canada. Its imagery and data are widely used as a subscription service by many industries including construction, engineering, urban planning, insurance, solar, telecom, utilities, and government entities across local, state, and federal agencies.
