    National Australia Bank first started paying dividends in 2005 with an 80% franked payment in July of that year and continued with twice-yearly dividend payments until December 2006. It resumed its distributions again in 2009, and the bank has paid twice yearly fully franked dividends − traditionally in July and December − every year since 2012.

    Shareholders will automatically receive their dividends in cash unless they have given notice that they wish to participate in the bank’s dividend reinvestment plan (DRP).

    National Australia Bank listed on the ASX in January 1962.
