About Elders Ltd

Elders Ltd (ELD) is a long-standing Australian agribusiness, providing various services to customers working in the agricultural industry. These services range from finance, banking and home loans to real estate, insurance and rural services. 

From humble beginnings in 1839, Elders has grown to become the country’s largest listed rural services business. Elders shares have been listed on the ASX since 1981 and after running into some trouble in the early 2010s, the company has managed to claw its way back and now sits within the S&P/ASX 200 Index (ASX: XJO).

Frequently Asked Questions

Elders typically pays twice yearly, fully franked dividends in June and December each year. Between 2009 and 2016, Elders did not pay any dividends however recommenced issuing them in 2017. That year, the company paid a total of 15 cents per share and, since then, has paid interim and final dividends of 9 cents per share including its most recent payment on 19 June 2020.  

Yes. Elders offers eligible shareholders the option of either full or partial participation in its dividend reinvestment plan. As at June 2020, no minimum number of shares is required to participate in the plan. However both the minimum and maximum number of shares that can be included in the DRP may be stipulated from time to time by the Board, at its discretion.
