FAQ
Will Challenger pay a dividend in 2020?
Challenger paid a fully franked interim dividend of 17.5 cents per share on 24 March 2020. The company generally pays its final dividend in late September. Whilst there are no guarantees, Challenger has reaffirmed its profit guidance for FY20 and also continued to pay its dividends throughout the GFC. This suggests that Challenger shareholders can be pretty reassured they will receive their final dividend payment come September this year.
Does Challenger offer a DRP?
Yes. Challenger offers optional participation in its dividend reinvestment plan for all Australian and New Zealand shareholders. The price at which shares issued under the DRP are allocated is calculated using the volume weighted average share price over the ten trading days commencing on the second trading day after each dividend record date. Shareholders can choose either full or partial or participation in the Challenger DRP.
